On October 5 & 6, 2019, WheatonArts will host the 21st annual Festival of Fine Craft, a nationally recognized, juried art show and sale. The event features indoor and outdoor artist booths, craft demonstrations, live music, hands-on family activities, a beer and wine garden, and our signature “WheatonArts Glass Pumpkin Patch.” Last year, the two-day festival was attended by over 11,000 people. WheatonArts invites artists and crafts people of all mediums to apply for this juried show. Approximately 150 applicants will be carefully selected by a jury of professionals, including experienced WheatonArts staff artists. We take pride in maintaining an artist-friendly show with a high standard of quality, and are continually working toward a balance of mediums and styles. This year, we hope to expand our festival to include local proprietors of artisan food and a select number of up-and-coming artists from surrounding institutions and universities.
Available booth space fees are as follows*:
Outdoor Space 10' X 12' without electric: $300.00
Outdoor Space 10' X 12' with electric: $340.00
Inside Event Center (electric included) 10' X 10': $390.00
Event Center Corner (electric included) 10' X 10': $415.00
*NOTE: Indoor spaces and outdoor spaces with electric are available in limited supply. Booth preference must be indicated on the application and will be provided on a “first applied, first supplied” basis.
Deadlines & Dates
The deadline to apply to the Festival of Fine Craft is Saturday, April 20, 2019 Midnight EST.
Late applications will not be processed or sent to jury. A post-jury application may open by invitation only if there is a need for additional exhibitors in a specific category and with no waitlisted applicants in that category.
Jury results will be mailed to applicants in late May 2019.
Cancellations for accepted applications must be made by July 31, 2019 in order to receive a refund for your booth deposit.
Final payment for accepted applicants will be due by August 31, 2019.
