Southeast Tourism Society Selects North Georgia Highlands Seafood Festival as an ‘STS Top 20 Event’

ATLANTA, Ga. (date) – Southeast Tourism Society has named North Georgia Highlands Seafood Festival one of the STS Top 20 Events in the Southeast for June 2018. This year’s North Georgia Highlands Seafood Festival is June 1st-3rd . The STS Top 20 Festival and Event Awards have highlighted programs around the Southeast since 1985.
 
Travel industry experts select 20 events per month, and STS publicizes them throughout the United States. The complete list is published on two websites: Southeast Tourism Society and Travel Media Press Room. The North Georgia Highlands Seafood Festival has some of the best seafood to be found this side of the coast of Georgia. Bands will be playing continuously all three days. T
 
his years headliner will be Tommy Townsend and the Waymores Band. We will be recognizing our Veterans this year with free admission to the Festival on Friday. June 1st from 1pm -5pm. A special musical tribute to our Veterans will also be made in conjunction with the opening ceremony performed by Matt Rodgers starting at 4:30pm. Arts and crafts and antique vendors will also be present to show and sell their work. Come out and say Hi to the Stilt Walker who will be making his rounds during the festival and enjoy a fun filled three day event. If you love seafood you will love this Festival. We will have land lubbers food available for those who are not into seafood. There's something there for everyone!
