  • The first Shrimp Festival was held in 1964 to celebrate the traditional blessing of the shrimp fleet - once a major industry on beautiful, historic Amelia Island.Up to 150,000 people attend annually during the weekend event to enjoy fine food, fine art and special activities. The Island Art Association sponsors the arts and crafts portion of the festival in conjunction with the Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival Committee. Annually about 350 artists and craftsmen are juried by IAA into the show and compete for $9,000 in prize money. The arts and crafts exhibit has been consistently recognized as one of the best art events in North America by Sunshine Artist Magazine and has been ranked in the Top 200 many times in recent years.

The award-winning, two-day festival will be held in Atlanta’s beautiful Chastain Park featuring two days of art and activities sure to delight Mom and the entire family. An estimated 35,000 visitors will attend this event with up to 200 displays of fine art and crafts, folk and "outsider art." In addition to the abundance of unique art, there will be a children's area, local gourmet food, beverages and a small stage for acoustic musical performances. Best of all, it’s entirely free. The Chastain Park area is rich with one of the largest and most enthusiastic art buying communities in the Atlanta area.   • Dahlonega Arts & Wine Festival, May 20 & 21, 2017. Enjoy quality arts & crafts, fine local and regional wines in our Wine Garden, and musical jazz groups in historic downtown Dahlonega, located in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains.   • Verona Park is a beautiful Essex County Park in Verona, New Jersey. The park boasts a boat house with rental boats and canoes, a lovely lake and many flower gardens. Located on busy Bloomfield Avenue in Verona, it is an excellent location for an outdoor fine art and fine craft show. The park is next to Montclair, West Orange, and Cedar Grove. The 32nd annual Fine Art & Crafts at Verona Park is co-sponsored with the Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation & Cultural Affairs and Rose Squared Productions, Inc. Due to county food concessions, food vendors need not apply. The free to the public show runs from 10am-5pm.
